Solid Surfacing is the perfect choice for healthcare facilities: it’s durable, hygienic and easy to maintain. In fact, in a hospital environment where hygiene and sanitation are paramount, it’s a no-brainer.

We are currently on-site at Worcester medi-clinic. The pics are straight from site (i.e. rough and ready) but we’ll post some more when the site is clean, sparkly and ready to go. The worktops and counters are in Montelli Iceland Snowdrift and the baby baths and sinks are in Corian Glacier White.

Thanks to a great team who are willing to work all the overtime sent their way – but it’s coming together beautifully!

 

 

 

 

 

House Wilscher

The Wilschers love Corian. We fitted their kitchen counters a while back – and have recently added bath surrounds to the bathrooms. These pics were snapped on our last visit to their house, so impromptu pics from a happy home!

 

KFC Waterfront

Our team is busy on site at the KFC V&A Waterfront. The serving counter is a combination of Corian Glacier White and  Surinno Ruby Red. Malcolm and Olivia are hard at work – so these pics are hot-off-the-press.

 

Durbanville Hills Winery

Techno Surfaces recently completed the bar counters for Durbanville Hills’ newly refurbished tasting room. We loved the job – not only because it is a high profile venue, but we got to enjoy the views and buy some wine!

The bar counters are in Corian Cameo White.

 

McDonald’s in Bloemfontein

Techno Surfaces is involved in a lot of commercial work at the moment, and last week we travelled to the city of roses to install counters in a brand-new McDonald’s franchise. Sulaiman, Alfred and Niyaas were responsible for fitting the service counter, bar counter and McCafe – all in Corian Glacier White.

JC Le Roux – Stellenbosch

JC Le Roux in Stellenbosch is busy upgrading their tasting cellar and we have been asked to create their brand-new staircase. The staircase will be the key design feature of the space – and we are currently cladding it in Corian Cameo White. The tasting area, closed at the moment for the re-furb, re-opens in December 2012 but our deadline is 7 November. The team is hard at work, and we’ll post updated pics as we go.

These first pics from site are pretty rough and ready, but it gives an idea of the scale of the job.

 

 

Table Mountain Restrooms

Every now and then a job crops up that everyone in the team wants to be a part of – and installing vanities on top of Table Mountain was just such a job. Craig and Gabriel got to do the installation, which meant taking the cable car (laden down with tools and material) to the top of one of the world’s 7 natural wonders. Techno Surfaces was tasked with installing floating vanities in both the men’s and women’s restrooms. The vanities, in Corian Warm Grey, are both sleek and functional. And the view when you exit the restrooms can’t be beat!
